It's a great idea and composition and I love the string. I'd still like to see you getting some depth, it does rather look as if you've just bunged the texture on and the mushrooms aren't really sitting on anything. They must be sitting on something LOL, you just need to erase some more of the texture layer and do a bit of burning maybe (or of course change the lighting set up to get the depth but wouldn't have a clue how to advise on that I'm afraid as only use the natural stuff). There's something very appealing about string isn't there - I might dig out my mummified giant mouse again see what inspiration I can come up with!

I should find something to sit these things on - at the moment the fabric is draped very smoothly from the stand across the table and that does result in no base. Maybe I should try squishing the fabric up a bit to give it a bit more life......

And no - I will not chuck it in the river They will stay up in the studio until they're useless to anyone and then will be disposed of......
