"Mushrooms on the March"

A marching column of small mushrooms......the sycamore seed head on the left was left in situ so as to give an idea of size/scale.
It was very dark here under a dense matt of overhanging branches so fill-in flash was used.

My thanks to all who commented on Falkland Palace.

I like the "ghostly mood" and atmosphere, the wetness, the tint of colour contrasts, all giving the composition such a nice effect...
