MY CASTLE

By newy17
IM BACK KIDS, and as you can see i went all the way to scotland to take night shots lol,mmm but youll be glad to know i took some shots of a day aswell ,,,well youve got to havent you lol,ive had loads of fun in the week running up to when we went,my broadband went tits up so icouldnt comment or upload a pic before we went and to top it of the 20d i got had big dust spots on the senser which i payed 90 pounds to get it cleaned and to my horror the first shots i took i checked them out on the laptop and there were more spots on my images so i wasnt a happy bunny to say the least so i ended up taking most of my shots with the little fuji ,but we had a fantastic time and the drive up to applecross was stunning and we were lucky we only had rain on the friday and yesterday on the way home and i will be cacthing up with everyone during the week.
thanks for taking the time to look at my castle lol ..
chears ian.

WOW Ian! This is a very hackneyed subject but you've gone and got yourself one of the finest shots I've ever seen of it! Congratulations, very well done!
Rgds., Jim

P.S. Re Canon woes, you should have a word with chiliman as you seem to be going down the same path he did

Sorry to hear about the sensor spots - ouch! Anyway, this is such a cool image - just right for Halloween. Nice to see you back. PS...I bought a micron filter for my air compressor, turn it way down low with a regulator and use the ultra-clean air to gently blow out the dust on my girlfriends slr. Seems to work well.

Nice to see your back safely, shame about your camera, just when you wanted it,but if you can take shots like this,it wont really matter what you use,the castle obvioously has been done a lot,but your interpretation must be the best one I have seen, great work, maybe catch you nxt time you are up.With the help of the missus,I have acquired a Nikon D80..''HELP''..but I'll get there

Hi there Ian, what a spectacular image to bring back for us to enjoy.
1stly, I hope your broadband is sorted out.
2ndly, I am in awe of how you have captured this beautiful lighting & detail.
Sky, castle & water, all amazing.
3rdly,I get the feeling, that just in the foreground of the water, there is an eye looking out at us.
