Many thanks for your fantastic response to my previous upload 'The Secret Falls' with additional thanks for the User Awards, hope I messaged you all.
My little studio was put to good use on Tuesday; this was my first New Born Shoot; it goes without saying, I was very nervous.
I had a plan and a set of poses mapped in my head, but of course where a New Born and other children are concerned, nothing goes to plan. On the plus side, my super model only pee'd once and was not sick at all. In fact he was extremely professional, very obliging and a joy to work with.
The day before, as I was checking equipment and safety factors, discovered that one of the main lights that I had set up in advance had lost a little metal bit that you plug the flash trigger into; panic stations. I didn't want to go to the trouble of setting up another light, given that for some of the shots this would be the only light being used. I had a Eureka moment, I set up a flash unit on it's lowest setting, aimed at the ceiling so that it would trigger the strobe in question, worked quite well, and I have no idea how that metal bit came out or even where it is.
This is Logan, aged 10 days, hope you like him
