She is a very natural model! I prefer the mono (previous post) although this has a few issues that bother me so maybe that's why - hope you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism as you've asked for it on other shots
I find the very worn nail varnish a little distracting, and also the foot visible at the top of the head, and the dark leg behind the hair. My biggest problem though is with the created high-key presentation - the processing looks a little rushed, with the white background seeming almost too white and as if the girl is a cut-out photographed on white card.
Everything I've mentioned is easily addressed, with such a good model in the family you'll have lots of opportunities I am certain. I find portraiture very difficult, you two as a team have great potential

Hi Helen,
Thank you very much for the feedback this is exactly what i need,
It was very rushed i had just received some studio equipment through the post and was dying to try it out so i asked Millie to pose for me,
The comment on the white background is really good for me as i thought the whiter the better when doing portraits but i see what you mean about it looking like Millie is a cut out (very much appreciated),
I am determined to get better at photography and all the feedback helps me do that

Many Thanks,
Steve.
