My Other Hobby

By lifesnapper
Hi all, and as promised, a glimpse at some of my little Artwork projects. Thought it would be nice if some of my lovely Friends on here would also like to share something of what they do, outside of Photography with us, it could be VERY interesting Smile

V1 is a picture that I painted some time ago for my Daughter's House. I call it my 'DIY' painting, as it is made up of a piece of Hardboard, a coating of Polyfiller, then Masking Tape and Household Paint Smile EASY! Sadly it is a Photograph of the Painting, which I then scanned and shrunk for uploading so lost much of the detail. Original size, about 3 ft by 2 ft.

V2 a Woman selling stuff at Maidstone Market, taken from a Photo I took of her. Pencil and Crayon for this one.

V3 A Woman that lived next Door when we first moved here. Pencils of various hardness.

V4 just a silly Water Colour, Anti-Diet thing I guess ( Junk Food fetish)

Hope you enjoy one or two of these, and thank you all so much for your kind comments and votes on my 'Family Affair', very much appreciated.

All the best to all,

John Wink

Four wonderful pieces of work John. You have certainly got many strings to your bow. Your work is rather good, image one is particularly well contrived. GrinGrinGrin

Hello, came by to thank you for the votes and comments and noticed this image that I find to be very interesting and your idea that we upload other hobbies. I love to paint too and I've just bought some drawing tools as I would love to learn to sketch, I have pencils and charcoal. Maybe I'll load up some of my creations too,
Nice to meet you John

John, ordinary bods like myself could easily get to hate multi-talented people like you, you know. Lovely paintings mate, and beautifully photographed. Don.

Ha ha, thanks for the interest everyone, and yes Ava, why not express your talents on this wonderful platform.
Everyone has a Story to tell, whether it's in pictures or some other form. It would be great to see what makes people tick, who we only really know for their style of Photography.

Agree with Malc above. Enjoyed viewing this series John. Your pencil and crayon work in V2 - instantly reminded me of a blonde I spotted when looking back at your early work dated 5th May 2007.
