I started to build two about 20 years ago, this is the first to be finished. The other one is well on the way, The boiler needs a small amount
of soldering . Then i can fit it to the wheels then finish the cab. So about 25 years for both.

An excellent shed...the very best type! My Dad has a similar garage. 
He’s been building an 040 saddle tank since he retired as an electro-mechanical engineer. He’s 82 now, so sadly I am not sure he’ll ever finish it 
I am not an engineer so I won’t be able to take over...so much work and skill goes into these models.
When I was a school child my Dad and his friend used to bring 4” gauge steam models to our school fetes and run trips round the field to help raise money. I used to get to drive! Happy memories...
