I started to build two about 20 years ago, this is the first to be finished. The other one is well on the way, The boiler needs a small amount
of soldering . Then i can fit it to the wheels then finish the cab. So about 25 years for both.

Thankyou for the votes, robertt.

An excellent shed...the very best type! My Dad has a similar garage. Smile Hes been building an 040 saddle tank since he retired as an electro-mechanical engineer. Hes 82 now, so sadly I am not sure hell ever finish it Sad I am not an engineer so I wont be able to take over...so much work and skill goes into these models.

When I was a school child my Dad and his friend used to bring 4 gauge steam models to our school fetes and run trips round the field to help raise money. I used to get to drive! Happy memories...

A real man cave, and a Myford lathe in place, with, no doubt other real equipment. Nice to see, and a lovely looking bit of steam engineering, Isambard would be proud of you.
