Mystery Quilts

By Joline
This is a just for fun image. Our quilting group were challenged with a "mystery" where the directions were parsed out over several weeks and no one knew the final pattern or what colors would work to form it. These are a few of the finished quilts. Interesting to see the different color choices and how they worked out. Guess which one is mineSmileSmileSmile

Also interesting how the same basic structure gives different '3-D' effects.
Yours? I'm guessing middle row left or bottom row right??

All look good to me. As a Welshman quilt making is very traditional in Wales, and some old quilts can go for many thousands of pounds Joline

I think top left (possibly yours?) and bottom right work best in terms of contrast.
I choose top left as yours as I think you have a gentle nature.

Middle left--

It takes a bit of time to realize the pattern is the same for all! Choice of color gives atmosphere and personality to the design!

As a teacher, I used to give children a paper with a line house on it and ask them to draw a 'home.' very interesting results! none the same!

The bottom right is mine....obviously I was thinking way outside the box!!!! It was fun though and my personal favorite is the top left.
