Drama in the landscape Dougie, fleeting light and nature. Excellent.

Those skies you had were wonderful Dougie. I don't know where this is - but it's unusual to see fields in the north of Scotland. You've got some lovely light on them - just in the right place to brighten the image!

Certainly a magical place, Dougie, as seen through your eyes. No hidden lions, fortunately!

An image full with a huge slice of divine intervention. The sublime light has illuminated this gorgeous landscape to expose its very best and endearing features.

What a huge expanse of far northern countryside from cultivated fields, nicely picked out by the sun, moorland and mountains and with a big sky above: the deeply shadowed f/g band forms a nice base to the image, and I can see you have chosen your viewpoint most carefully and waited for the light to be just right, Dougie.

GREAT light but that Scotland, great place to live as a photographer....no a great place to live full stop and thats with midges

More important than the sunlight, it's that dark, brooding cloud shadow that it casts. I can see it moving over the land.

lovely patchy light, sky is superbly dark & dramatic.
Looks like Loch Loyal to the right middle distance - happy memories of fishing there with my son, years ago.
