Naturtiums from my hanging baskets, mixed with a little Lobelia for colour contrast.
Great shape & form to these, the bonus is that the flowers are edible & add a great splash of colour to a summer salad.

The original image is an HDr of 5 frames, combined & tonemapped in Photomatix.

F16 manual mode
F/L 80mm
Raw files converted in Lightroom.
Textures added in Photoshop.

Tried to keep the textures light on this one to show off the colour of the flowers.

Thanks for looking.
Janet xx

Now this is my kind of flower arrangement. Gorgeously random.

Vibrant Janet and as always very well presented image. Like the leaving of the petal in the foreground

The nasturtiums are so colourful and sharp, and the whole thing comes together beautifully, though it appears quite random, which I am sure it's not.

Thanks all.

The flowers made their own way in the vase, somtimes it's just better if I leave them to do their own thing...I see you noticed the little petal at the bottom I.G. ...unlike me who only saw it when I processed the images,so I left it.

Many thanks for your UA Val Smile

Beautiful image Janet. Your processing really makes this a stand out shot. Did they taste as good as they look?
