Nathan Effects

By LynneJoyce
A set of 15 images inspired by one of Nathan's (NDODS) abstract posts earlier this week. In each case the background image is a digitally manipulated version of the foreground image rather than ICM. I confess I rather like this technique so many thanks to Nathan for the inspiration.

Thank you for viewing and I hope that you like at least some of these images.

I found the whole set fascinating, not only are they lovely autumnal wood scenes, but the backgrounds obviously "fit" perfectly, complementing the original beautifully, and your individual choices of placement work extremely well.
Excellent

I would like to learn how to do this technique--

Also, I think the off center sharp images works especially well
An especially well cone collection!

A fantastic and stunning set of images that should be arranged around the walls of a gallery somewhere . . . each one is individually beautiful and inspiring. Now, would you please write some instruction guidelines for the How To / Techniques menu tab so that the less artistically gifted among us can dabble?

Very effective use of digitally manipulated ICM.
I especially like your placing of your origins in V3 and V14 making good use of the tree trunk.
I enjoy a go at ICM when I'm in a wooded area - fun to see what transpires.

I have to say, I like the 'Nathan Effect' too, having tried this using PS Elements 👍 Has to be used with the right subject, which you have here, Lynne in this excellent presentation 😀
