Beats a texture layer in Photoshop by many a mile.
And a lovely lady.

She seems to be at a place in her life where peace is her priority..

What they said. Well spotted, and brilliantly used.

The colour contrast between the rust and the dress is just right. A portrait I'd be very pleased to have shot. Ecstatic, in fact.

Thank you , i think she austrian and always stop for a natter and knows my work and knew exactly where i meant when i suggested where to take the pic , it was low light evening slightly overcast but warm glow . i worried i didnt pop it but like to keep things realistic when lighting is concerned and didn't want to over contrast which is sometimes suggested ( and i'm a little frightened to do but getting braver ) couldn't think of a nicer person to work with here. May ask if she would do more actually.
i was a bit nervous about going out and asking outright if someone would mind doing shots this summer but looking through and seeing big smiles and how relaxed they are with me im pretty chuffed and husbands and boyfriends have been great. some amazing people out there .

She actually looks like an artist to me. Which makes the image more special in my mind.

Sandy's right. And that may be why she appreciates precisely what you're doing...
