Today's word appears to be 'stunning'. I really think this image is stunning Cheryl for all sorts of reasons. The most obvious being life after death - nice to see the trees growing again after having their fingers burnt. I really like the overall lighting and the softness of the image. Nice, real nice.

Again thanks Barry ..this locaL Environmental Park was set alight on purpose by a total fool Sad last summer . The local paper had grahic photos of the poor little wallabies with their feet bandaged in the attempt to awaken community awareness. They were the lucky ones that were saved by animal and wildlife officers and the locals that live around the Park ..sadly a lot of very old paperbark Gums were destroyed along with the damage to the resident wild life that frequented it Sad Happily the birds were able to escape and are beginning to return to the area ..it will be a while b4 the Wallabies and Koalas return(or are relocated there) ..IF they ever will beSad ...Cheryl

I quite agree with Barry - stunning. Love the feel of the picture. It graphically illustrates the the destruction caused when we play with fire.

Straightening the wonky horizon would improve this greatly. Lovely colours.
