Nearly Catastrophe

By Hop-A-Long
Howdo everyone.
Wasn't around yesterday, had a few things to sort out. Thanks for all your comments on my last upload. Wasn't quite sure how it would go down.
Todays, tonights, erm, this evenings.... Ohhhh, whenever. Anyway this upload I imagined as going to be a right pain to do. I had the idea yesterday when I dropped my cup of tea. Horror of all horrors. Yes I dropped my tea, the splash was spectacular, everywhere, but spectacular. Hmmm I thought, I do that alot you know nowadays, just think Hmmm. Strange thing to think isn't it. Anyhow I set myself up in the bathroom. I was fully prepared for a long session, I had a towel, snorkle, mask, lifeguard, sandwiches and of course a cup of tea. Not to drop obviously, that would be going to far. Nearly forgot, I had the camera as well, necessary really if you want to take a photograph. All that setting up and this shot was done in three shots, is that a gasp I hear from you all. Yep three shots, I was amazed myself. It took less than ten minutes work. Still the cuppa was nice. The other two shots didn't even capture the cup falling, I fired the shutter to soon. Hope you like it. As the cup say's "Enjoy".

Thanks for looking and for any comments.

That is some capture. Really fabulous and clever.

Also thank you for the information regarding my Fleet. we wondered and pondered and in the end just thought it strange although attractive to have these in the middle of a housing estate.

I hope you had a mop and bucket too. My sympathy to your wife.
Meanwhile it's a pretty impressive shot, and I love the presentation. But it's difficult to concentrate on the picture with such a strong mental image of you taking it !
Bill when you get here - please note, try this one and it's no chips for a month!

When I saw the thumbnail and your name appear in the same swish of the mouse's tail I was prepared for the worst. Sure, opening the thumbnail reassured me a little because I couldn't see any shards of crockery appearing, but I still worried nonetheless. A thorough reading of the full narrative reassured me only about 30%, for the following reason:

- If you are prepared to do this to a mug of tea, even a pretend one, what on earth will you get up to next?

It's a fab capture, Andy, I can only admire your daring and your reactions: 1 in 3 must be pretty fine. Please don't give me too many more shocks just yet, though! And I'll promise in return not to risk the chips.

Brilliant shot and presentation Andy. And a great sacrifice of three cups of tea (I hope you didn't use premium quality).
About your question; the little arrows were stick-ons to remind Sarah that those letters were touched up and not quite dry yet, so not to touch them.
