Needles & Pins

By Fefe
Hello Everyone Grin

Been missing for a few weeks as per.......... Usual excuse ....been so busy, but also been away for a week of Storm DennisTongueTongueTongue
We viewed it from Dorset. Dennis thinks we went to see him....but believe me, we didn't!
Any how, we had a great week, and Dennis didn't keep us in . This was a day or two after storm Dennis, but to be honest he went on a bit all weekSad

This was taken at Mudeford Quay and a view of The Needles on the Isle of Wight.
The little hill you see to the right on the horizon is not land, its a wave....Am I glad I was not in a boatTongue
Please view large if you have the timeSmile

Massive thank you to everyone for C&C on my last upload, and the lovely UA's, and a special thank you for the GEA from simmo73.
Really appreciated!

I'm more familiar with the view from the top of Hengistbury Head but the view from Mudeford provides a wonderful perspective as this dramatic shot demonstrates!!! Superb! 👍 😀

Needles & Pins by The Searchers was one of the very first 45s I bought with my own pocket money a 'few' years ago...

This Dennis has a lot to answer for! Some guy called Jorge supposed to be on his way this weekend, too 😧 A fine capture of t'Needles here, Diane, but not a day for boating as you say 👍 Definitely better larger... 😀

Interesting - had no idea there was another version. It's always meant The Searchers to me. Good title and a cracking shot, Diane. Just glad I didn't have to use the ferry.

Superb view of the Needles on a stormy day Diane. Looks like we both had storms and the IOW today,
albeit on different days.
