Nematode worm

By Mendipman
This is an uncropped image of a backlit sycamore leaf I found on the floor in a wood, the shot was taken at the minimum focussing distance i.e 1:1 magnification.

The worm in question is trying to disguise itself in the middle of the frame along the central vein and extends from bottom left to top right for just over half the's the wiggly line in the middle of the shot with a bit before and a bit after Grin

Best viewed large.

Many thanks for the votes and comments on the previous upload of the Garden Spider, very much appreciated. GrinGrinGrinGrin

I love the mosaic look of the leaf, Heath, much nicer to look at than the worm Smile

Superb macro Heath. A worthy result after lugging two tripods! Smile
