Neon jelly fish

By Robinsons
Here is something totally Different for me, Jelly fish at a sea life center i visited with my children, they were so striking that i gave it a go and was reasonably happy with the results... i found them difficult to photograph as the lights changed colours constantly and of course they were in constant motion..does any one have any ideas on how to perfect this type of subject?

I dont have an answer to your question but did google for it. Check out the you tube video below may give you some answers Smile

But I quite like this shot as well, iam on my iPad but it looks nice and sharp with the other two nicely blurred out in the background giving prominence to the one in front ....

Looks good Rob.

Slight noise on the bg jellyfish but a good trade off keeping the app wide enough with your focal length to throw them out of focus. Spot metering is spot on.

The neon blue comes through, so nice wb as well.

Perhaps a bit of spot healing here and there to remove a few blobs , but with no time to track movement with the kids in tow, you did real well !

Thank you , Eviscera.
i have gone back and spot healed the original and i so agree that its a great improvement to have removed the bright spots from the tentacles ..Blush

May I humbly suggest you upload the updated image as a Before and After shot? Would be nice to see the result of the editing. Nice photo regardless.
