Nesting Shag

By MikeRC
Hi everyone...thanks for the RC on my last picture....much appreciated.
It encouraged me to post this..another image from half a decade ago.
In those days I was shooting with an FX30 bridge camera,
....I'm thinking that if I go back next week with my D7000 I can do better.

Thanks for looking...be lucky....Mike

A great shot - you will have difficulty in beating this one - excellent detail and colour

Good details and back ground too, might just be worth cloning out the red buoy just be the birds beak as it a slight distraction.

Added a mod. Blurred the BG a tad, increased contrast. Paul

Hi great shot of a nesting bird, I took out the buoy. and the fishing boat, also got just a tad closer and sharpened a touch. Hope you think the mod improves the shot. Chen.

I agree with Richard, you should clone out the red buoy but otherwise a great shot with good exposure on the water
