Thanks everyone, Evan the E500 is better in so many ways but the lenses I have do not cope with macro at all so I'm finding that quite hard. Its actually very 'user friendly' let me know if yu want to know anything specific Jane

that looks stunning. i had a look at the E500 when buying my new slr and it looks great but i already use canon 35mm so went for the 300D. this shot is really good and your learning fast with the new camera!...great shot

great way to start with your new camera, an RC and an HC, though I think it has something to do with the photographer aswell.
