New Camera

My first picture taken with the new camera.

I wanted a compact with a good zoom (20x), this one seems to be ideal. I checked out several reviews and everyone seemed to recommend it. When I saw it for half price at Amazon I couldn't resist - I'm glad I didn't, so far I'm very impressed.

I just need some decent weather so I can go hunting bugs! Smile

I forgot to say, this was hand held, taken through a double glazed window, with Taffy sat by the garden pond (about 12 feet away).

A fine start with your new camera Karen, this is a lovely portrait of your ginger tom Taffy. I too have a new Canon compact camera from Amazon after dropping the last one and breaking the lens when out with gary_d in the Cotswolds on the May Bank Holiday Monday

Yes, they are both big 'boys' now! Though Taffy is a 'fairy' (dainty, light, slender and elegant) and Paddy is an 'elephant' (heavier, chunky and very clumsy)! Taffy is the hunter and Paddy is happy just to watch! They couldn't be more different, hard to believe they are brothers.
