New Love 3

By mrswoolybill
This is the final set from my newly-discovered tree, at least for the time being. Three days, 12 pictures, of one fallen tree? Obsessive?? MOI???
V1 gives you a close-up of the little bark monkey. He’s entirely genuine, no cheating. This one was taken on my second visit, by which time at least one layer of bark had disappeared, he’s probably vanished entirely by now.
Thanks to everyone who visited yesterday’s upload. I've had very little time on the site - we had a wet, cold but very agreeable day out (maybe some pictures later in the week...), I came home to find a mammoth translation job and the computer going slow because Norton was spring-cleaning. I want a nice quiet day today.
If you have time, please view Large.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Fabulous Moira..number 3 is definitely my favourite. There are such wonderful colours in tree bark. I will send yours back to you this eve..I have really enjoyed playing with it. It might be a bit small as I don't know how to save whole files and I reduced it to work on it. I have so much to learn!

Its #3 on this occasion for that rich red peeling bark and #4 because exhibitionism is a good thing, especially when there is an eager audience lol.

I like your monkey image Moira, also the colour in V3, nice images.

Moira, I think you are a bit like the undertakers who walked round and round the cemetery withe the coffin.........they had lost the plot.

No3 for me too.Like the ''rustic'' look.I see your monkey in 1.Unusual texture here for bark.Looks more like stone.Thank you for sharing your love affair with us Moira. We have saw your object of your desires stripped raw and naked. With close up views and angles of all its personal little details. There are certain newspapers and magazines that would pay considerable amounts of cash for this.Have you tried ''Tree Lovers Weekly''

Yep... I would go with the obsessive bit!!! lol

Third one appeals the most... nice colours and strong diagonals... though would probably had a greater DoF if I was taking it. Keep up the good work, Moira!!! Smile

I see you've been MONKEYing about again. Surely that's a crocodile in V4? As for V3, those are the sort of colours I mentioned before. Fallen trees in the new forest, usually pines, have surprising colours on them. I think there's a dog-snake in that one.
Loved the "lost the plot" joke above. I will join the undertakers 'cos I've lost it, too.
8 Apr 2008 7:14PM
Again you've picked the right No.1 Moira. Great stuff.

Now what's that saying? She's not mad - just 'out of her tree.' Smile
This really is a cheeky little monkey face, isn't it? Fabulous textures in all of these. I'm quite drawn to v2 - the bark looks like the log roll in the garden.
