I have posted this image as a test to see responses, as a few years ago I entered it along with a couple of other images to a stock photo library, It was a first for me as never particularly confident in my pictures, their reply was a cheap snap with no artistic qualities, by the way it wasn't Magnum or a high brow library, it was a very basic one with to my mind mostly mediocre images I'm not saying its a wonderful image but I like it and I did give the composition some thought... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

''she has Bette Davis' eyes''
Sublime blend of model and architecture. I do not know if you had a prime lens and not the ability to zoom. The part behind her head, on the left side introduces too much of white space. I zoomed I on my phone screen and managed to see a frame with two tiny white triangles above her head and a frame that includes all of her face, most part of the hand and the first row of windows opposite of her. A rather concentrated image with the essence you wanted to give, yet with more impact, like an espresso, instead of an americano.

Or a square crop keeping all of her arm but not the white bit behind her.

Thank you both so much for your comments, I see what you both mean about the white, as for lens I was at the long end only an 80mm and I'm short !!, and just trying to get the face in the darker area of the reflections was a little tricky, but I'll certainly do the crop.
Have a lovely day.
