Newburyport, Ma. (best viewed large)

Newburyport is a tourist town in Massachusetts, just over the New Hampshire border, that was a ship building and whaling town for a couple of hundred years, and an important port during the Revolutionary War.
Now, it's a great tourist town, with many good restaurants, and great little retail shops.
Also, when I want to get out on the ocean and enjoy those ocean breezes in mid summer, I go on my yearly whale watch out of Newburyport, and always have a great time.

Lots of cheering color--even flowers!

Middle st. --The town I live near has a Front Street, a Back Street and a Middle Street. having moved there from a large city like Newburyport---we were truly amused.....
