This was taken at a retreat I was on. The aim was to get a relaxed unprepared shot. I used a 70 - 300 zoom lens.

I reckon you got the shot you wanted.
All I've done here is to crop out the space to the right and (very roughly) clone out the shadow behind her head and the edges of the bed. At least, that's what I suppose it is!
Hello, Dawn. I see from your portfolio that you like doing black and white portraits. You definitely succeeded in capturing the lady in a relaxed pose here, unlike the other posed ones you have done. I agree about the blank space around her, and think the modification is much better. I think, however, that I would also have cropped a bit from the left to remove the fingers.
A nice candid shot, but you really do need to come in much tighter - I would come down to just above her head, a bit off the righ, then some off the lf to keep her head from being too close to the right.
Nice idea and it's definitely informal and catches a mood well. However, I'm not sure the angle's that attractive, looking upward into her mouth. Maybe it's just my job (you can guess that from my username ), but a flash of full-on molars is rarely attractive in the context of a smile. Just my thoughts, maybe a bit picky but hey! I agree with vthe cropping in tighter as well..
