its rubbish no DEF just a smudge,on FLICKR this is a different image,it drives me mad,I can no longer see the wee islands they are just a blob

It looks fine to me,but I can understand your frustrations if it looks ''better'' on another site.

definition,resolution......its the same problem as photoanswers,I belive it is save on storage severs cost but look at FLICKR look at 500 the images pop out at you,here and photoanswers any fine detail is lost,it means certain images can not be used or you end up as here with a smudge here is the image on 500 ......... http://500px.com/photo/7447894

For me it's pleasant, serene and relaxing to look at.

If had been there at the time and seen the it in real life, i may agree with some of what you are saying?....but i wasn't!
