Night Lights

By Halgiver
Although this looks like a night shot it's lit by my DIY twin macro light rig. It was late evening and the photograph was set to manual exposure, with the left flash two stops lower than the right. White balance was custom Kelvin 4900k, as it seems more accurate to my eye than the Panasonic flash white balance setting.

I had to arrange how the petals of the flowers interlocked to get them roughly on the right focal plane. I used a monopod to help steady everything a bit and get the camera at the right level.
