Another exhibit from the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, which is home to a lively programme of research, teaching and events focused on the sciences of the natural environment.
Native to freshwater habitats in Africa, Nile crocodiles are a very aggressive species of crocodile, capable of taking almost any animal within their range. They are ambush predators that can wait for hours, days, and even weeks for the suitable moment to attack.
