No.1 Whitehall Riverside

By MikeH
Leeds centre has expanded at a rapid rate but recently cancelled or mothballed projects are evidence of a slow down. There is lots of unlet office space which is a pity because despite these buildings being good subjects photographically they only really come to life with people about them .

This was taken a couple of Sundays ago while out looking for something different to shoot.

Smashing lines in this Mike and a nice bit of light on those steps

A wonderful composition. It is extremely well thought through and the light on the steps as they go off into the distance adds well to the overall effect

Excellent architecturali mage. I like the sweeping lines of the steps through the vertical parts of the building.

Fabulous use of perspective and vertical format.
Initially I read No1 as simply No! I think maybe I prefer it that way.

Very well composed Mike. Like it as is, but also wondering what it would look like with a crop losing about the top 25%?

I think this composition is superb, I love the curve of the steps and the reflections. Wonderful image.
