I have waited a few days since I took this, mainly because a few minutes before I was going to post it someone got there first with a similar image. I am not copying, honest.

It works for me. I am a big fan of small-scale detail made abstract and large. I think DoF here is ok and the b&w choice is good.

Like the subject, seems a little soft.

Have uploaded a couple of mods. Just sharpened and toned, just as a comparison.

Thanks for the chance to play.

From the thumbnail, this looks amazing. But, it is a little bit soft. If you can take this again & make it really sharp (to compliment the wire itself), then you definately have a winner.

Just looked at the mods & I prefer the tone of yours....just sharper.

Sorry, it was me who loaded the Razor Wire image (Well I think that's the photo you're talking about?)

This is a nice shot with a good DoF

That works well - the whole image is about "sharpness", I guess!

I like it, interesting to see a macro shot in B&W. You definitely need to look at the larger version to fully appreciate it.
