No Fuss

By cattyal
A simple one tonight- I picked three Crocus yesterday morning - plonked them on the windowsill in the light so they'd open nice and wide and then chose one to clamp in my little clampy thing along with some leaves.

No fussing - just natural light although admittedly I have filled the background as natural light on black velvet does make it a bit patchy.

Love this, especially like the composition and the lighting is just right; if I was being 'picky' I think I'd crop the bottom off where the flower stem gets thicker, that I find distracting.

Thanks folks Smile It is nice when the light is just right - and it was on Sunday Smile

I did try a chopped version Jenni but thought it looked a bit stumpy? I'll pop it up as well.....

A stunner - the light is perfect and makes the colour shine. Perfect dark bg.

Thanks for putting cropped version up Alison, and of course you are quite right it does look 'stumpy', the full length version does work better ............. Jenni
