No More Playing the Blues

This photo was inspired by a trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as a personal crisis. I wanted to create something that expressed the sadness I was feeling mixed with my love for the music and instruments so integral to the French Quarter and Dixieland Jazz. I decided to shoot a low-key treatment on the trumpet I played growing up.
