Theres a sort of general thinking in photography that odd numbers can work better than even numbers, more appropriate with other subjects....

It might apply here, as I think the three work best.

Same washed out style (even with the obvious rain!) so I have to think youre not happy with the general critique feedback that suggests images are often too washed out? Also, - the mods done, do they look bad to you, - too dark or solid? We dont get feedback from you?

I love the use of the red and black tones in the image. I also feel it captures when each and everyone of them are remembering a moment that was so important to them, which you can see in the eyes. Great job...

The mod I wanted to increase the colour while trying to keep a muted feeling to the image

Superb observation, again. Really iffy style, as Willie suggests. His mod is dark and stormy: Robert's adds a comment (as I know you often do in your presentation) that picks up on the resolute expressions on these old soldiers' faces. It doesn't sound the trumpets: it simply states a truth quietly, and I think it's superb.

Three is generally the magic number and I like your observation skills here.
Like many of your images this is really washed out which has been mentioned several times on your uploads.

That doesn't really give us any information, do you like the mods, have you put anything into practise that has been suggested ?

I'll endorse Janet's last line, immediately above. The Critique Team flourish on a conversation: we need to know what you think of what we've said.

We are grateful for thanks, of course: but this Gallery comes alive when there's a conversation.

Well weathered trio, great combination with the added extra of rain accentuating the message !! Very strong combination. May we woish you and your family as best a Christmas as possible and perhaps a better New Year. Stay safe out there.

Needs to be hard and gritty. Terribly flat.

I second JKanet's comments. You really need to tell us what you think.
Assaid nicely composed but awfully processed.
It's just wichy washy. The splash of rd to the right of the guy on the left is a distraction so yo could desaturate that completely.
