Norfolk Floods

By katieb
A few weeks ago we had severe flooding along our coast, this is taken at Salthouse where the tidal surge breached the shingle sea defense flooding the saltmarshes behind them.
P.S The line at the back above the shingle ridge is not over sharpening it is a line in the clouds.
Thank you for looking.

Lovely shot, its really odd seeing the tide coming in over grass. Nice subtle colours too.

What an extraordinary sight. I imagine this must have been something of a challenge, Kate, because such an event changes the landscapes that we're all familiar with. I love the colour effect of the grass and sky on the water.

Thank you.
@ Ian - yes the road was closed because of the flooding and it was difficult finding away across the river but I got some interesting shots. Horses were in this field the day before.

The colours in this really come out when viewed large
