Normandy Village

By NDODS
This HDR composition started out as several rather drab looking images which were in desperate need of some photographic TLC. With the help of some digital manipulation I finally arrived at the image destination, where it was time to get off. The original images were taken during a week long holiday in the beautiful French region of Normandy. This particular shot was captured in a beautiful little village approximately ten minutes drive from where we were staying in Cambremer. The stall holders and shop keepers were just opening up for the day, the smell of freshly baked baguettes and croissants which were lingering in the late autumn air was to good to let go amiss. Not only did I get a taste of the fresh local produce, but an image, that for me brings back so many fond memories.
