North Hill from the Worcestershire Beacon

By DicksPics
V1 is of one of the beautiful Malvern Hills, taken yesterday - North Hill, the second highest peak of this range(1,304 ft).
It was taken from the Worcestershire Beacon, the highest of the Malverns(1,394 ft).
A more detailed image toposcope on the Worcestershire Beacon is shown in V2.
It was a bit blustery up there to say the least!!
Many thanks for all views, votes and comments on my 'Mic' upload and a special mention to Billy(williamsloan), Bob(cabbie), Jenn(taggart) and Tish(Tish1) for their treasured User Awards.

Lovely panoramic view and a fine image of the monument.
Strange to think there will be monuments like this to Queen Elizabeth 11 in years to come.

It's rather blustery where I live, and we're less than 100 feet above sea level! Grin Must have been a good climb up to reach there, Richard, but well worth it for this magnificent view Smile

Great effect from the letterbox format in V1 Richard. Makes a really strong image.

Admire your stamina. Last time I climbed up the Malvern's, it took me half an hour to recover before I could take an image!

I thought it said bacon at first, but that might be because I'm feeling a bit peckish. I love the presentation of V2. As for V1 you have chosen the prefect presentation, it compliments the composition and allows the eye to stroll across the image at leisure without clutter, distraction or effort.
