I don't think there is right or wrong with these pics, more down to personal preference. For me V1 works better as V2 is a touch cold for me with little too much blue. Other than that, composition, tonal range, exposure are just perfect........great shot.

the images of confronting elements so very well balanced, Jeremy..

Serene drama
gently assailed peace, and
from land to the heavens..

very fine image.. between the two.. color and B&W just the carry the same mood for me as described above.. so not much of a difference.. but yes, at this moment, as for my mind, I would definitely take color with me.. for it adding an element of vibrancy, joy and..... I think a promise as well..

Oddly for me, the colour wins this one. The mono is unquestionably lovely, but the colour version is just ... wow. I think it's the limited tonal range of the blues - it's very calming and ethereal.

Have to go with V2 today. A symphony in blues.

I like them both but a tint between the two could be worth a try...............hadn't thought about using wind direction as a title Jeremy, thanks for the tip. Wink

I'd end up with titles like "Bloody hell!!!" ... "Bugger, that's windy!" ... "Ooooh, straight up the jumper ..." ... stuff like that. Sad
