Award Shortlist

Northern Fulmar (Fulmarus glacialis)

By DerekL
Thank you for the comments/awards on my previous image of a Dotterel, especially for the User Awards from DaveNewbury and Alan_Baseley, much appreciated.

Had a good day at RSPB Bempton Cliffs yesterday, although the wind was in the wrong direction off the land, reducing the uplifts along the cliff faces, resulting in the majority of birds flying lower down the cliffs.

Here is an image of a Northern Fulmar I managed to get.

I was there in March and the wind was in the wrong direction

Thx for comment and Award Mike.
Yes don't know them to be recognised, pity would have liked to have met them.
Look out for the Barn Owl in the field between the Nature Walk and the old Radar Bldgs. It was flying at 11:00am. I was down other end of reserve but my mates got some cracking shots.
