Nostalgia!

By JimV
Been meaning to put these up for a while, tonight's the night it's happening! I received these (and others) from my nephew last year, some I had seen before, some (principally, the one of my mother) were new to me.
V1: My mother, born Ayr 11 November, 1904, died 3 February, 1993. I'm guessing this was taken in the early 1920's.
V2: My mother is the conductress on this boneshaker bus - note the solid tyres!
V3: My grandfather, with my mother and her sister inset.
V4: My father, born Edinburgh 27 October, 1890, died 28 February, 1974. He's the one with the pipe in his hand.

Have a great weekend!

What a fine set. I have my family too, back several generations, including some which were painted instead of photographed. They are like living history.

Oh! I love looking at old photos. I think you have the look of your Grandfather Jim... a fine gentleman. The old bus is fantastic and to think that is used to run around my area is great. Wonderful memories.
