Not Blea Tarn

So, on this glorious trip to the Lake District, we decided to go to Blea Tarn. A tarn is a mountain lake, so we knew vaguely what we were looking for and where. In the rough area of where we were headed, we found a lake, which we assumed was Blea Tarn but was, in fact, Not Blea Tarn. Anyway, here's the shot.

Regardless of the lake, loch, tarn's name a splendid picture. Looks like an overcast day, you have captured plenty of colour and interest in the picture.

Hi..for my two penniworth I think this is a classic shot of Little Langdale Tarn, just a hop, skip and a jump from Blea Tarn. Top-left you have Wetherlam in the clouds...top right you have Greenburn. Starting from the Three Shires pub in Little Langdale, and doing the round of Greenburn you would take in views of Little Langdale, the road to Hardnott Pass, Lingmell Fell, the Langdale Pikes, (Isle of Man on a clear day). I advise you to finish back at the Three Shires, ..you know you want to! Cheers Andy I

Josh, you've made excellent use of the poor light and bad weather to create a really moody image, apparently of Little Langdale Tarn. Good one,
