Excellent capture Ray, as already mentioned the focus is a little on the soft side, but this doesn’t detract from the overall quality which is first class.

Have to agree with this all the way Ray.
I agree, just a little soft but still a beautiful capture. The pose is excellent and a great composition.

Ray on large it seems as the focus is on the back end of the bird rather than the eye - I'm sure your software will confirm point of focus, saying that these birds didn't hang about and it is a well timed capture, a bonus with food, good colour and pleasing b/g - Ina
