Nyota is a Black Rhino calf & Mother Vuyu's behind, born at 6.20 am on Christmas Morning, her father is called Kingo, Keepers decided to call the Calf Nyota which means "baby star" in Swahili. Weighing in at around 40kg as a newborn, Nyota will spend up to 2 years suckling her Mother's milk.

Had a great day today going around Port Lympne with Andy (Endangered's) which I must thank, it was taken with my new 300mm f4 IS lens which I extremely happy with.

I have loaded both mono & colour versions. Best Viewed in Large

Great shot Phil. I think it has to be V2 for. I confess I am not a fan of mono.

very effective in the mono did you try sepia too?

V1 again for me I do like the conversion. I told you, you would get some great shots and you did. Very nice. Glad you got this one.
