Findhorn, Moray, Scotland.
I have always had a liking for things that are inherently ugly, even repulsive; that for a few moments get the Cinderella treatment, turning the humble potato into a Pomme de Terre with a bit of ooh la! la! It seems that a little bit of rouge and some divine make-up can after all transform even this industrial eyesore, a view I usually avoid.
I photographed this during a winter sunset from my local beach this represents a 20% sectional enlargement from a Fuji GFX50S using a 100-200mm lens just a week ago, I sold my first picture of it today.
By the way the black lumps at the edge of the sea are seals that haul themselves out to bask at low tide.
