Old and New - The Tower of London from Tower Bridge

By Andysnapper

Having just come back from a meeting of film camera geeks in London I thought I would look at the images I took last July when I also met them.

This was taken on a Voigtlander Bessa R3A rangefinder camera with a Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f1.4 lens and using Kodak Ektar asa100 film. Unfortunately at this size it isn't possible to see the fantastic resolution of this image but trust me its fantastic. The colours are vibrant and film allows the capture of detail from the highlights and the shadows which digital still struggles to do.
Anyway enough film zealotry and just a thank you for looking.

Give me the 'old' any time, Andy Smile. Very interesting image, though, seeing the Tower of London huddled beneath those modern towering monstrosities Smile
Well composed and captured. Carol
