Old Wood

Very old - one of the remains of a prehistoric forest that was uncovered off Tywyn beach in the winter storms of 2014. I've not been back since, but I suspect the sands have long since come back to cover these remains - most were already recovered by the time I was there in April 2014. Tywyn is the town that you can just see in the distance.

Good. I've tried photographing a similar subject on the Kent coast, it's not easy. Very mud-coloured...
