Took a few shots of these insects earlier in the summer and they were all blue . I think this is the same critter but maybe they are changing colour through the season , either way i like the metallic golden colour . Caught this one cold this morning before he got to flighty , only seen 2 numbers must be getting a bit thin on the ground , cheers for taking a look , Kel

This one is an Emerald Damselfly Kel - not a blue. It's a great shot - dont know how you managed to get so much DOF!

Cheers for the v+c on this shot don't know why info has not come out will check settings! used 105mm with extension tube and flash , heavily cropped , will post un cropped shot to give idea of real dof , thanks again Kel

Did you use the Save For Web option in PS as this will strip the EXIF data.

Spot on Kel, the focus point and depth of field are perfect! The colour is magnificent and the background blurred to myopic beauty. Has to have my award, you've totally nailed this one.
