On Fire !!

By FoolsAndKings
This is one of my many shots that I got when following the British Superbike Championship.

Dean Thomas - #12 - who was involved in a huge crash that landed him in hospital, 15 seconds after this shot was taken.

The flame is the excess fuel burning off as he brakes hard around the corner.

It was taken at Snetterton circuit in Norfolk.

Only change to original shot is a resize/crop and sharpen.

This is a superb shot. I really like the blurred b/g and sharp bike and rider. The flame is spot-on. Quality work.

Great timing to capture the flame... not an easy thing to do. My only suggestion would be a slightly less severe crop... as the bike is a little too close to the LH edge and has no where to move into.
