On stage

By Fleck
I have been lucky to be asked to take photos of the headlining band at Silverstone, once for the F1 and again at the moto gp. Always wanted to do stage photography, the challenges of ever changing light and the inability to use flash makes it a difficult task. Fingers crossed hoping to do it again next year.

Live gig photography can be exciting, fast-moving and dynamic.
I suggest you either use/buy/hire a faster lens than the one used here. I use a 35mm f/1.4 and a 50-140 f/2.8 - nothing slower than that. Flash is usually a no-no so you need fast glass.

I suggest that you have a look at bliba 's portfolio for inspiration, atmosphere as well as action.
Good luck, it's a great experience!
