On the Lookout.

Another mouse shot. they do move quickly! Just bought a Fuji X 2X converter for the 100/400 after some sole searching. First try here. It is not easy to use with a maximum aperture of f11 at full zoom but 1200mm focal length. This on a tripod and with flash to get a decent aperture. Looks to be sharp if handled correctly but lighting terrible here. We shall see in better light.

A few years ago, after some trials, I wouldn't have touched a converter with a barge pole!

This one is without converter, is it? I would think the one with converter is better with ISO400 and S 125. One thing that I don't understand is why you use high ISO when you use flash. I thought only in low light condition people use high ISO...
