On The Slate

By RogBrown
A splendid day out last week with DaveU & DeSilver to Shugborough Hall. So much to
see - didn't even make it to the house itself before the pub called. Can really
recommend the Barley Mow - it's only a few yards down the road.

Just noticed that the tags appear in alphabetical order which makes a nonsense of the way you entered them if you're tryng to be a smartarse!

Come on Rog,sort your tags out !!
I like the setting here, perhaps I would have chopped that ceiling off though, those lights aren't doing this any favours for me.
I hope you didn't get 'lines' from the Teacher Wink

Nicely processed Rog but not one of your best, more due to the room itself than your photographic expertise methinks. With Janet I'm not overly keen on the ceiling as those big beams are a bit intrusive. Still worthy of a vote for the subtlety of the tone-mapping ..... blimey but have you blown those windows a little? Wink

Looks an interest room Rog, so much in it, must have been a bu***r to photograph.

Glad you enjoyed lunch, that must mean Dave paid

Cheers all. Well I like the beams so they're staying so there. Tongue

If only this were true Les. Alas Dave is a poor, unemployed mendicant who ekes out a meagre existence busking in the streets of Birmingham. These little minimeets are a rare treat for him as I let him have my leftover chips which he meticulously divides into two & takes home to share with Mrs U. Or so he claims. Smile

Why should I share Rog's cast-off chips with Mrs U ..... she has a bowl of watered down gruel each morning which is more than enough to see her through the day.

Gosh. I remember desks and bench deskslike that. Mostly well decorated with carved names, initials and the like.
