On the verge

A not very successful attempt at photographing a verge pocket watch Im working on. Made in Norfolk 1785 during the reign of George 111.
Hope you like it, such craftsmanship went into these old watches. The case was originally gilded, and the watch has the usual inner and outer cases - known as pair cased. It has the original bezelled glass in v.2 which is reflecting the light a bit.
